July and August have been very busy times for Physio Rehab Group Clinics & staff.
Silver Ferns vs Samoa. Two of our physiotherapists were involved in the recent netball test (Saturday just gone). Sarah Fanuatanu was the Samoan Team Physiotherapist (Pasifika clinic) & Brooke Williams played (West Wave Clinic). Not the best result girls but we know you worked very hard in amongst all the fun!
Bryce Ebben from our College Rifles clinic is in Turkey with the Tall Blacks for the World Championships.
Two of our Bairds Road Physiotherapists have just been appointed to the Cook Islands Commonwealth Games. Well done Ariane Carroll & Charleen Silcock, have a great time in Delhi!
We have a few new staff – Sarah Gillanders based at Panmure Lagoon is a recent A+ graduate with an interest in sports physiotherapy; Akbar Bhamgi now based at West Wave is a football fanatic & spent most of July at the world cup in South Africa; Sangita Patel who is joining us soon & will be based at Albert St Y-Fitness clinic. Sangita is a part time professional wrestler & works with the Hearts (Auckland Women’s Cricket Team). Julie Kang is also a recent addition at our Pasifika Clinic in Otara. She is recent graduate & is thriving in the heart of South Auckland.
